In a world of constant big releases, there are millions of people interested in getting exclusive tips. Like how there seems to be at least one Game of Thrones leak. This is true especially of tech releases, and Apple is the king of those. Many expected outsiders to release an iPhone XS leak … but the company slipped and did it by itself. By accident.
The tech giant added a few photos about their upcoming releases on their website, and the Internet obviously took notice.
What the iPhone XS Leak Shows
Guilherme Rambo, a Mac and iOS developer who writes for 9toMac, was the first to notice the leak. During last Thursday’s announcement of the next Apple event, he saw internal images of the gadget in the stream. This led to a more thorough research of what we can expect less than two weeks from now.
It seems we’re getting two new OLED iPhones: 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch. It appears that both of these sizes will be called iPhone XS. Happily, that’s not the only hardware feature we know about the upcoming iPhone: there’s also a new hue. The iPhone XS leak shows that, unlike previous iterations of the new design, we’ll get a gold color option.
So far there aren’t any details regarding software additions, but we’re definitely getting two new iPhone sizes, and in gold.
But that’s not all…
While the highlight is the iPhone XS leak, there’s a bit more info on the September Apple event. Besides new iPads, the company is also expected to unveil the new generation of Apple Watches.
According to BGR, the screen of the new Apple Watch will be bigger and with that will come a new interface. The only picture so far shows a somewhat saturated screen, but that’s just for marketing purposes. Fans of wearable technologies should be psyched about this one!
The Apple fall event will take place on September 12th in Cupertino, Calfornia.
